,KUALA LUMPUR: Share in Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) jumped 11% in early trade Friday after securing extension for the National Single Window (NSW) for trade facilitation contract. The counter rose 11.49%, or 10 sen to 97 sen. It is currently the most active counter on Bursa Malaysia with 243 million shares traded. DNeX-WD rose 9.72%, or 3.5 sen to 39.5 sen with 131 million shares done. DNeX has secured the NSW for trade facilitation contract for another three years through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd. The government has approved the contract extension commencing Sept 1,2021 until Aug 31,2024. Under the extension, Dagang Net will continue to provide six core eServices of the NSW for Trade Facilitation – eDeclare, eManifest, ePCO, ePermit, ePermitSTA and ePayment – in providing the trading community with connectivity to customs and relevant agencies for import and export document processing. DNeX has been the operator of the NSW for trade facilitation since its launch in 2009.
