KUALA LUMPUR: ARB Bhd recorded a 54.4% jump in net profit to RM19.74mil in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2020, from RM12.79mil in the previous corresponding period amid an increase in revenue.The group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the quarterly revenue of the group rose 61% to RM72.56mil from RM45mil in the same quarter in 2019 due to improved contribution from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) andInternet of Things (IoT) segments.The ERP segment is involved in the designing and reselling of customised ERP solutions, whereas the IoT segment involves integrated solutions in system.ARB has a rosy outlook on the two segments, which are expected to continue growing and contribute impressive future earnings to the group.Over the entire financial year, ARB's net profit came to RM43.46mil versus RM34.77mil previously, while revenue more than doubled to RM219.45mil from RM102.64mil in 2019.
