KUALA LUMPUR: Uzma Bhd is venturing into the gas supply business. The company, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, said it had obtained two licences from the Energy Commission to import liquified natural gas (LNG) into regasification terminal, and the licence to ship LNG within Malaysia. The licences are valid for ten years, effective from Feb 3. "The licences are expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending June 30, 2021 and onwards until the expiry of the licences," it said.
